For many years I’ve served in local church ministry alongside my husband as we pastor a church in Pennsylvania. I’ve become very aware of the need for prayer and yet the difficulties people often face in praying effectively and fervently. Some years ago I felt the Lord leading me to gather specific scriptures and to create a prayer cloth as a help in prayer. When I made that first prayer cloth I felt that one day I’d find a way to produce them for others. That day is here!

The name “Prayer Covers” and the phrase “God’s word on fabric ~ for prayer, blessing and comfort” clearly expresses our vision. Our logo depicts a person securely resting in God with the word “Prayer” draping as a quilt. Stitches in the shape of a heart represent individual prayers offered up to God. The tail of thread passing through the eye of a needle represents the ongoing nature of prayer. The heart speaks of love ~ God’s abiding love for His people and our love for God and desire for His will.

God’s word is a strong foundation for all prayer. Each of our “Prayer Covers" has bible verses according to specific themes incorporated into creative designs and printed on fabric. Our product line which has begun with banners and prayer cloths will soon include quilts and other fabric items on different themes for personal, family and national prayer.

Our first product which is now available is our “Prayer Covers for Israel” banner. It is made of poly satin fabric and hangs on a gold painted wood rod with a gold tassel cord. The colors of this banner are purple and gold. In the center is the star of David and the Hebrew letter Shin representing El Shaddai, God Almighty. The banner size is 21” by 29”.

Our second product which is also available is “Prayer Covers to Share” prayer cloth/ bandana. This is a wonderful product to share the gospel. It is a white cotton bandana with a green ivy leaf border and it gives the ABCs of salvation including a simple prayer of salvation and additional scriptures on key themes important to any believer.
